A classic 88 years in the making. The 88th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic returns to AT&T Stadium on December 29, 2023 as #9 Missouri takes on #7 Ohio State.

The Classic returns to primetime for the first time since Oklahoma defeated Florida 55-20 in the 85th edition on Dec. 30, 2020.

The 88th Classic marks the sixth time in seven years the game has been played in December – 82nd (Southern California vs. Ohio State on Dec. 29, 2017), 83rd (Notre Dame vs. Clemson on Dec. 29, 2018), 84th (Memphis vs. Penn State on Dec. 28, 2019), 85th (Oklahoma vs. Florida on Dec. 30, 2020) and 86th (Cincinnati vs. Alabama on Dec. 31, 2021).
